Cottages – Cancellation Policy

A $300.00 deposit is needed to reserve our cottages for a weekly rental and a deposit equal to one night’s accommodation is required for any other reservations. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

A $60.00 administration fee applies to all cancellations. The balance of your deposit will be returned to you provided you give 60 days notice of cancellation and the vacancy created by your cancellation is re-rented. If the vacancy does not get filled, the deposit will not be returned.

For our snowmobile packages, a deposit equal to one night’s fees for one person or 25% of the total reservation costs, whichever is greater is required. If all snowmobile trails surrounding Camp Conewango are closed, as per the OSFC website, the deposit may be refunded, minus an administration fee equal to one night’s fees for one person, per reservation night. The administration fee may be applied to a subsequent reservation made in the same snowmobile season.

Guests not showing up at the prearranged time and date without giving notice by phone or email, constitutes a no-show and will be liable for 100% of the total of their reservation.

In July and August, cottage rentals are available only on a weekly basis and run Saturday to Saturday. At other times, there is a 2 night minimum, and a 3 night minimum on long weekends. Rates are generally for up to 4 people, unless one family (parents and their minor dependent children). In the winter season (January 1- March 31), the Log Cottage rates are based on 6 people. There are additional fees for any extra people.

It is not usually possible to check in early or check out late. In the cases where early check in or late check out is desired and possible, there is an early check-in/ late check out fee of $20 per hour.
