Camp Conewango and motorized recreational vehicles
Camp Conewango is built on sand. ATV’s tires are the biggest enemies of our roads and lawns. To help us keeping Camp Conewango’s guest safe and the lawns green and nice, please respect our rules:
· ATV’s are allowed on Camp Conewango Property from the main entrance to your site/cottage and from your site/cottage to the main entrance only (please walk to the shower house). Stay on roads at all time and watch for playing children. No driving or parking on lawns (except parking on your camp site for the campers, and beside the Log cottage or behind the Cedar cottage for the guests at the cottages).
· UTV’s are only allowed into the parking lot, not into the campground or to the cottages.
· All vehicles must be operated by licensed drivers and follow the law (incl. wearing a helmet). Driving on park ground should be kept to a minimum. Speed limit may not exceed 10 km/h within the Camp boundaries.
· All vehicles (incl. dirt bikes) must be insured and have a license plate.
· At all times the main entrance must be used only. No access to the trailer park is allowed by using the hiking trails in the bush on top of the hill. These trails are reserved for walking and hiking only.
· No access to the lake by motorized vehicles at all times.
· No washing of ATV’s at the shower house, at the sites or at the lake and creek.
The person registering is responsible, that every member of his/her group will know the rules. He/She is responsible for all damages. The management reserves the right to ask anybody to leave without any refund, should they disregard the rules or cause any undue disturbance.
Thank you for your co-operation.
